Duolingo and Pear Deck

I read that you should be able to embed Duolingo lessons/activities into Pear Deck, but I have yet to figure out how. In order to do so, I'd need to figure out how to get an embed code for a Duolingo lesson/activity.

Has anyone on here been successful at embedding Duolingo in a Pear Deck lesson (web slide)?

Does anyone on here know how to get an embed code for a Duolingo lesson/activity?

Thank you.

MatthewLed 8, what is Pear Deck? Thank you!

Pear Deck is an add-on for Google Slides. It allows teachers to make their slides and presentations much more interactive and engaging for students. It also provides a lot of opportunities and mechanisms for checking student levels of understanding. Check it out: www.peardeck.com

Thank you! We are all trying to get up to speed with all the tech so fast. My colleague says, "It is like trying to drink from a fire hose."

Can you embed regular url's into a Pear Deck? If so, you could attach Duo that way. But as for assigning specific skills or Assignments, you'll probably have to rely on your normal methods of communication. I will ask this for you on the Educator's Network, and hopefully somebody there will know. Hang tight.

You can embed all kinds of sites and tools in a Pear Deck lesson thanks to their web slides (Kahoot, Quizizz, Padlet, Google Maps, Google Docs&Slides&Forms, etc), but today I was told that you can't embed a Duolingo lesson/activity (as in the students could play/complete it without leaving the Pear Deck session, but you could certainly provide a link to schools.duolingo.com on a slide, have them open it in another tab, go to their class on Duolingo, complete the assigned activities, close the tab, and get back to focusing on the rest of the Pear Deck lesson.

Peardeck is a way for students to interact with their teachers through google slides. Here it is!https://app.peardeck.com/join
