I don't understand. Why isn't this 'the tasty bread'?

There is a sentence in the course: 'Aran blasta' meaning 'tasty bread'... if you change that to 'An t-aran blasta' you've got 'the tasty bread'.

Whereas 'tha' translates to 'is' in your sentence.
