skillful ~ skilled ? Why is skillful counted as a mistake?

As far as I know 'skillful' is a valid translation of peritus. Duolingo contributors have to enter each possible translation from what I have heard so they may not always have all possible translations. Try reporting and see if they add it I suppose.

Thanks ....there were five new words in that sentence and I was not sure which was “goes” and which was “ to “ . I should have know “ it” from ite missa est at church but it did not click until later.

Why "towards the building" is counted as a mistake?
