I, too, used de la rather than a la and was marked wrong. I simply do not understand why DuoLingo gives hints that are incorrect. That is not a good support system! I only use it to confirm that I am using the correct word(s) and it shouldn't be used to give what they will mark as wrong!!

"Emprunter" is also really close to italian "Imprestare", which means "to lend". So with the wrong suggestion it really felt like the sentence was "you'll be able to lend books to the library"
