I lost my class in Duolingo school. Help!

I reset my browser data, and suddenly I lost my classes even though I logged in with the same account I used to create my classes in Duolingo school.

Are you showing empty classrooms, or just can't log in? What are you seeing?

I have also lost all my 2020 classrooms. My 2019 classrooms are there but not the 2020 ones. It is especially annoying as I had put all my Year 7 classes into one classroom to have a competition going. Out of my 78 students I have had 65 who have "joined" the classroom and I have been putting up the Top 20 on our school network over the past couple of months. All teachers in the area were given a new e-mail address about three weeks ago, so I wonder whether it is to do with that. The new and old e-mail address are still linked though. I have written to duolingo several times but have not received an answer. It is not easy getting 78 students to "join the classroom", so I am not keen to start another classroom. It is not such a big deal for my Yr 9, 10, 11 and 12 classes. What do I do?

Have you tried logging in with your username? Also did you merge these 3 classrooms into one single classroom?

Thanks for responding Shadow.Avalon. I have tried to log in with my user name and both e-mail addresses. Same thing - only my 2019 classrooms are there. I didn't merge any of them. I started brandnew classrooms this year and it is the large (65 students) classroom I am very keen to get back.

What is annoying is that I keep getting multiple messages from duolingo to keep up my German, French and Spanish, but I just want my 2020 classrooms back. Is it essential that I make progress in my individual profile to be able to use duolingo for schools?

Thank you very much MadamSensei. In the meantime, I had contact from duolingo who had found my 2020 classrooms. It must have been related to my new e-mail address. So now I have changed everything to a completely unrelated e-mail address and it seems to still all be there. Thank you for coming to my aid. All the best!

Thank you very much! No contact has been made. I did get an automated reply straight after I sent my request, but it didn't say anything. There was a sentence saying: Please type above the line... which I didn't understand, as I couldn't type above the line they had there, so I assumed that was part of the automated reply and for their own purposes.
