Severe bug - no progress possible
I have sent a message to the Duolingo team (am waiting for the response), but nevertheless I'd like to know, whether anyone of you has every experienced this bug: since a bit more than a week, whenever I finish ANY French lesson, the site immediately loads the home screen and none of my progress is saved, not even the finished lesson is marked as finished. Hence, I can not get further with my training... Is the problem known here?

We took a look, and it seems like it might be a problem with your internet connection being too slow? Is that something you think might be the case?
Well, internet here is really not very fast, but sufficient to watch videos and not encountering any other problems. But it might certainly be, in case that Duolingo transfers that much data... I will try it again at work, there the connection is fast. Anyways, thank you for your help!
I have apparently found a way to fix it. It was indeed no Flash problem (although I guess my Flash is outdated), but the internet connection at this place is the problem. When I use duolingo via my university's vpn, everything works fine. Maybe here there is some strange firewall installed (it's not my private network). However, I thank you very much for your help and am happy that now I am again able to make use of this great site!
I have the same problem with mine. It started a few days ago, and I'm not having trouble with my internet connection.
