agua fresca/fresco

Why is it "agua fresca" although it is "el agua"? Shouldn't it be "agua fresco"?

"agua" is a feminin word.. although, because it starts with the letter "a", we use "el" instead of "la".. but, even then, they keep being feminin, that's why it's correct to say "el agua fresca"! hope i helped you!

this rule applies to all feminine nouns that commence with an "a" or "ha" AND where the accent is placed on the first syllable e.g. agua, √°guila alma
