What does bolding in sentences mean?

For example, in the sentence "Wohin wollen Sie gehen?", the "en" in "wollen" and "gehen" are bolded, but I'm not sure what that's trying to imply. Have I missed something?

These are the verb endings that you should pay attention to, like "gehen" vs "geht".

Sometimes people manage to make typewriter style, usually by mistake, and I think it's from using some sort of apostrophes, anyone know how to do that?
