It feels amazing !!
Oi, tudo bem? :) Almost a month ago I was attempting to learn Portuguese, I discovered duolingo and I started using it. Since I live in Kuwait, and English is not my first language, it's a bit harder for me to learn Portuguese. And then what I did is, I used an app " hellotalk " to exchange languages with other learners. At the early start, I wanted to know how Portuguese sound like. And as usual YouTube was my first best option and I watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgopS9547as . For sure I didn't understand A THING...
I heated up early today and I decided to watch that video again, so I can find out how much improvement I have accomplished. And guess what!! I understood almost everything they were talking about. And it feels amazing and I couldn't believe it. Yes it is a very simple conversation. But it is great as a beginner with almost 4 days streak ;) . I was losing motivation before I watched that video again. Music, following Brazilian people on IG to read some comment helped me quite a lot. And whenever I have a question, I use hellotalk and ask some strangers. Do not give up thanks for reading :P and sorry for any stupid mistake
Parabéns, é muito bom ver qualquer um aprendendo a língua portuguesa. Take my lingots!
kkkkkkkkkk muito obrigada,, I will not take your lingots. I will give you mine :)
Congratulations! Keep going. You can learn many things here. Feel free to ask me anything in portuguese, I'm from Brazil. Enjoy Duolingo. I think it is the best site to learn any language.
muito obrigada, and I totally agree it is the best site to learn a language indeed
Felicitações! Sounds like you are taking the right steps in learning Portuguese, best wishes to you!
I've been learning Portuguese for over two months now (up to V. Pres. 1) and I was only getting about a quarter of the clip.
Oh man, I finished the Portuguese track, and this is the first spoken video I truly understood from start to finish, mainly because the woman was talking a little more slowly than the Portuguese and Brazilians usually talk. Feels good :)
Keep going mate, you're on the right track!
Cool thanks, I wish the did something like this for some songs from Portugal, like fado!
