How about "I will prepare my backpack for hiking." ??

Why isn't "I will get my backpack ready to go hiking." acceptable?

Duo accepted, "I'll get my backpack ready for the hike."

The Béa character's voice says "je préparai" (Simple Past) instead of "je préparerai" (Simple Future). Reported.

The voice on this page is correct.

I listened to this several times at both speeds, and there seems to be a syllable missing in 'préparerai'. I've reported it.

Surely la randon is the hike and randonnée is hiking?

None of my dictionaries recognise "la randon" as a valid French word.
