'glic' is more wise or sensible, rather than 'clever'?

We had Eilidh ghlic. Why does Eilidh have an H in ghlic, but Norman does not?

That is because Eilidh is a female name and so it causes lenition on adjectives. Norman, as a male name, does not cause lenition.
