Mobile version of Duolingo Website ?

Are there any plans for making a mobile optimized version of Duolingo ? say e.g. m.duolingo.com. It will certainly help mobile operating systems which do not have the app. For example Windows phone, firefox os and blackberry os can benefit from this. It is almost impossible to use Duolingo website in desktop mode in a mobile browser.

When I try to go on the site on my iPad (safari), it says I need to update my browser. x3 I'd like a mobile site so I could get on Immersion and see my stream/activity

At least, you have the app. We (windows phone users) have no app. The desktop website is useless in a mobile browser. All mobile operating systems would benefit from a mobile version of the website. I cannot carry my iphone everywhere. I have already upgraded to a Windows Phone and only thing I miss is Duolingo( and not games).

Thats true :c I can't update the app on my iPad because it now requires iOS 6, which doesn't work on iPad 1. Bummer, I wanted to try the duo duels, whatever they are

They removed the Duo Duels( Bot and real people via Game Center ) in latest update 4.0.5. I miss them too. You get 10-12 questions in a duel. You get at most 2 points for an answer( 1 for correct answer and 1 for quicker reply than your opponent). They also changed the layout of the app completely. It is more polished now. But why did they remove Duels? I hope they make a comeback soon.

I'm on Windows Phone 8.1 as well, and would do fine with a mobile website, instead of an app. This is a solution that would work well for any mobile platform that doesn't have the app yet (or ever will).

Yes, also with latest update 1 of Windows Phone 8.1, mobile websites designed for iPhone and Android render correctly on Internet Explorer . Even if they design Duolingo for Safari or Chrome, it would look the same on Mobile Internet Explorer.
