There has to be a better translation than this. "The activities must be fun for the students" or "the students must like the activities." The activities must please the students sounds very unnatural to me.
Elsewhere in these lessons, this could be translated as "The students must like the activities." Rejected here.

Why not "plaisent les eleves" ?
