Sounds almost identical to the English counterpart. मिनट is loaned from English.
Actually duolingo is mostly teaching Hinglish (hindi + english). In pure hindi
"minute" is "Ghat" or "Ghadi".
"Hour" is "Ghanta" and
"second" is "kshana ( k silent)" or "Pal".
What's the Nagri spelling?
Same way they just say school in duolingo, I suppose.
The proper Hindi word is विद्यालय (vidyalay)
लम्हें = seconds
If there are 60 seconds in a minute so two minutes will be
120 लम्हें / एक सौ बीस लम्हें (I'm not sure tho)
Actually we usually use English minute only .. but is hindi accent .. minute has a word in hindi too ...
