"At three in the afternoon he goes into action again."

And "Alle tre del pomeriggio lui entra in azione nuovamente" is not correct... Does the word order here really matter, and if so - why?

Maiden & Robusteli say that time adverbs that are indefinte (like 'again') come straight after the verb. But adverbs of manner can come after the complement like Esamina il libro attentamente (He examines the book attentively). So I suppose that ... lui entra in azione entusiasticamente would be OK.
