finally, she went on honeymoon alone. not accepted??? why 'her honeymoon' and not just 'honeymoon'? the French is not 'sa lune de miel'.

So, why is it incorrect to translate: In the end, she went alone on her honeymoon?

It seems that this tree is still in development and many of the translations are rather Duo specific. Presumably things will get better eventually, but for the moment it is more like learning Duonglish than French....

Not incorrect. I have reported it.

She went on honeymoon alone. The her is not necessary, but Duo thinks it is

It is needed in American English.

Finally she went on honeymoon alone should be accepted

Though the final position of "alone" in Duo's sentence appears more emphatic, I suggest to include the following option of alone after the verb telling us how the action was performed. Merci. - "In the end, she went alone on her honeymoon."
