I officially bless this Finnish course with the Finnish National Anthem!

Long Live Finland and the Nordic Brothers Forever!

With much love from America!

Oi maamme Suomi, synnyinmaa! Soi, sana kultainen!

Ei laaksoa ei kukkulaa, ei vettä rantaa rakkaampaa, kuin kotimma tää pohjoinen, maa kallis isien! (x2)

Sun kokoistukses kuorestaan, kerrankin puhkeaa;

Viel' lempemme saa nousemaan, sun toivos, riemus loistossaan, ja kerran laulus synnyinmaa, korkeemman kaiun saa! (x2)

Also, fun fact: Suomi and Eesti have the same national anthem, but with different lyrics and different titles.

Finland: 'Maamme' vs Estonia: 'Mu isamaa, mu õnn ja rõõm'

Translations - Finland: 'Our Land' vs Estonia: 'My Fatherland, My Happiness and Joy'

Also, the Estonians don't repeat the chorus, as the Finns do.

Fun fact 2: The Finnish one was first written in Swedish, and only translated into Finnish many years later. It is still sung in both languages.

Super cool fact! Who would have thunk'd it that the Finnish anthem was first written in Swedish to music made by a German when Finland was still under control of the Russian Empire. Thank you for such an interesting fact! :)

Really cool! Estonia is the Baltic cousin of the Nordic Brothers in my opinion. Much respect to both countries and their anthems! :)
