Dutch Grammar Workbook
You folks were all amazing with you recommendations for a English - Dutch dictionary. I purchased the just release version of The New Routledge & Van Dale Dutch Dictionary (2014) Many thanks!
Now I'm looking for a grammar workbook with plenty of exercises. I just can't read grammar and absorb it. I have to do grammar.!!! I found this one: Routledge's Basic Dutch: A Grammar and Workbook but even though it says basic I couldn't get through the second exercise while viewing the sample. Something like the Practice makes Perfect book series from Barons. if you're familiar with those.
Any recommendations are much appreciated:).
Dutch in 3 Months really helps you get an understanding of grammar from the basics. Although it says in 3 months, I ignore it. I do it in my own time.
This grammar workbook is very good. I'm still in the beginning as well, but there is a lot of exercises, which is what I need the most right now. Despite still being in the third lesson, I just think that the grammar part could have more details - for instance, I still struggle with the modal auxiliary verbs.
But I think it's just something that will take some time. I have been studying Dutch for just a few time, so there are a lot of things that are almost impossible to assimilate in a short-term.
I have also read about the "Nederlands voor buitenlanders Workbook Delftse methode", but since I don't know this one, I can't say much about it.
Good luck with your studies!
