Can Finnish people talk to animals? Am I the only one whose memory of a song got triggered by this sentence? (what does the fox say?!)

Why can't it be "What does a dog say?"

It should be accepted. You cannot specify with word order whether it's a specific the dog or just some a dog.

I think because it's koira and not koiraa, so it's referring to a specific dog. Maybe a mod can clarify though?

I put a dog, it should be correct I believe.
