Knew a guy who had most of his leg hair on his knees. Genetics is weird

Is this a common French idiom? It sure isn't something I've ever heard anyone say in English.

Chauve comme un œuf - is more common

Are the French hung up about baldness or is it just Duo?

Duo's just chauvinist.

I have tried "John-Paul" and ""Jean-Paul" est chauve comme un genou. Both marked wrong. How do you get around this . Reported it both ways.
