In the us too. But bridegroom isnt very common over here.
in the U.S., "mad at" and "angry with" mean essentially the same thing
Not just in the US, and "mad" is a hover hint option. "The groom was mad at his father-in-law" reported as correct.
Wouldnt 'avec' work as well there?
