I know it is a cellphone, but I think it is mostly referred to as a "phone" now, and I think "I lost my phone" should be accepted. What do you think? I only call my mobile or cellular for a phone at least.

In England no-one uses the word cellphone. Mobile or just phone are both the most common words in the UK.
