"J'étais sur le point de tomber mais il m'a sauvée." is also accepted.

My similar response was accepted but Duo told me I had a typo and that it should end with, "but he save me"! ("save" in the present tense is incorrect) I have reported as "something else went wrong".

Yep. I had «I was on the verge of falling, but he saved me.» and was told

You have a typo.

I was on the verge of falling, but he save me.
[with the word "save" underlined]

I followed your lead and reported it as "something else went wrong".

I had this too. Too bad there is no real way to report it other than "something else went wrong". No way to add free text either...
