Interesting as in British English i believe we tend to refer to the invitation without attribution. 'Thank you very much for the invitation'. Now I think about it, invitation is the act of inviting, so it is that of the inviter (suggesting your is correct), but it's also the noun for a communication which invites, which might be regarded as given to the recipient (which might be why ' my invitation' could seem correct).
