Need for a new function: skip a practice, finish it when it's convinient.
I use the android application on my cellphone every morning when I'm on my commute. Sometimes the app would ask me to speak out loud or listen to a piece of audio, but this might be difficult to perform because the surroundings are too noisy.
so I'm thinking if an additional function could be added, enabling me to skip that audio/oral practice, and continue to finish the ones following that one, then come back to pick up what I left behind.
I know the audio could be turned off, but I want to learn a new language and deem that oral practice too important too skip, so I want to come back to finish them later.
You can turn the oral and audio lessons off, just go to your profile/settings on your phone. You could also use headphones for the audio lessons which may cut out some of the noise.
PS on my iPhone app I also get a chance to turn off the Oral tests for one hour. This option automatically comes up with the first oral exercise.
Hi, @psionpete ! It is very rare to see native English speakers in this forum. Did you subscribe to our forums? Thank you for helping answer the community's questions. :)
that is what do when I'm learning English. But I want to learn some other languages and in my view it's very important to have audio inputs to help with learning of the target language.
thanks for your detailed instruction on how to turn audio off. :D
Turn them back on again when you're doing the other languages. It's just a couple of mouse clicks. Much easier, IMO, than saving exercises for later, and pulling up the saved exercises, etc.
