I Have Finished My Spanish Tree
After around six months (168 days) i have finished the Spanish tree. In general, the whole experience was fun and i will keep using this app to practice.
My learning Tips:
At all time make sure to keep everything in full strength before advancing to new lessons.
Visit http://www.senorjordan.com - this guy has plenty of well explained 8 minutes lessons.
¡Buena Suerte y Muchas gracias!
Great job! I am working there, so thanks for the inspiring post and the great tips! :)
Not yet. however, I do understand a lot. In order to speak fluently - i believe i need to find a way to practice and gain some confidence. Anyway, Duoalingo seems to be a good place to start, so keep on!
i'm confusing in one thing what should i do to speak fluently.. where do to practice when i complete my tree...
Me too, but i will figure it out soon. just finish your tree and you could be my Spanish buddy :)
Congratulations on your completion of the tree!!!! and thanks for providing that link.
What happens if you don't keep things in full strength before advancing to new lessons? Have you figured out the algorithm behind the strength indicators? Is it purely time based, or does barely passing to gold mean that the strength decays faster? I'm asking this because lately I feel like I am in Spanish quicksand, having to spend my time redoing old lessons that I mostly tested out of rather than being able to progress on to new worlds...
In my opinion, the algorithm is time based regarding the words that included in the lesson, so if you use the words in other lesson your strength will remain full. however, i do not believe that it is important, what i meant is that you should not try to finish the tree as fast as you can and you should enjoy your learning experience.
Wise words. Wish I could live by them - I get tired of having to repeat lessons on vocabulary I already demonstrated I know, when I could be learning something new or working in immersion. Thank you, sensei!
