This one is interesting. I wrote "tu as fait une erreur en traduisant ce mot", but I had second thoughts and hovered over "made" and the suggested translation was "t'es trompé(e)" so I changed it to "tu t'es trompé en traduisant ce mot"
It was accepted but with the suggested translation as shown. I wonder which would be more natural in spoken French.

To me, faire une erreur is a little bit more formal than se tromper. Both are very common, though.

i used "tu as fait" which I'm sure would be the way a teacher would address a pupil, not "vous"
