edit suggestions

What happens exactly with edit suggestions?

If I see a translation which is good except one small mistake, I suggest an edit. But how am I supposed to evaluate this translation afterwards?

Should I give it a green perfect because I removed the mistake? Or should I give it a yellow mediocre because I just suggested the edit and the mistake is still there?

I suggest you rate what you see (i.e. without your edit). If you suggest the edit and the translator accepts it then their edited sentence goes in as a new sentence (and their old one remains). So they now have two translations showing and the corrected one should end up getting rated more highly.
