Male Voice Option?

Does anyone else think it would be a nice little touch to have the option to switch the computer voice between male/female? Not a big deal, but doesn't seem like it would be hard to implement.

Well, it does look like it will take a rather long time...

You probably have to record the voice, word by word.

We do not record the voice word by word :)

That's what I thought! It's some kind of software that recognizes it. Seems like it would just be a matter of changing the audio on it. Ultimately it's a small point though!

We have quite a few big features we're working on right now, but I'll definitely mention your suggestion. Look for exciting new stuff from us soon :)

Hey, it’s been 5 years since this was proposed. In the meantime, all we got was even more awful male voices.

Please do something about it. It’s bad enough to almost make me want to avoid certain courses altogether.

I would just prefer to seem an improvement in the Italian voice pronunciations. Man/woman doesn't matter to me as long as it's less robotic and more accurate.

We're working on that!

That's true- the issue arises in Spanish pronunciation once in a blue moon- but I have a feeling that's a lot harder to address.
