I wrote "Look, the chief has a hole in his pants!" and it said "You have a typo" and changed it to chef!
Isn't chief synonymous with boss?
why does she put an 's' between 'chef' and 'a' ?
Why is it 'un trou DANS son pantalon', when we've just had 'un trou SUR son pull' ? Is there a difference here ? Thanks
two sentences are weird in French.... We would say : Le chef a un trou à son pantalon ; il a un trou à son pull
"Look the boss has a hole in his trousers" should be accepted.
