There are a whole bunch of French jokes called the "monsieur et madame" jokes that are pretty corny and popular. The formula is that you are given a last name and asked to come up with the first name of the son(s) and/or daughter(s) whose full names would be a pun. For example:
Monsieur et Madame Terrieur ont deux fils. Comment s'appellent-ils ?

Haha Luckily it's the same sound we have in Algeria or else I wouldn't get it. It's like "quack quack" but pronounced a bit "Frenchy-ly" with barely opening your mouth it sounds more like : "coin coin !" (Read in French) = "corner corner " :D
