Misplaced modifier in English. Should be "eats only lettuce". If he "only eats lettuce" the implication is that there are other things one could do to lettuce--the mind boggles.

I used "if he eats only the lettuce." This was rejected -- but it's a perfectly sensible translation if the context is in reference to one particular meal. When "the" is omitted, it refers to a more general situation -- someone who usually or always eats only lettuce. Duo, please fix this!
