What about "He found a job thanks to the social networks"?
I wrote : He found a work thanks to the social media, and rejected too. I guess 'the' is the problem.
"Work" is uncountable: He found work
"Job" is countable: He found a job
Merci beaucoup !
It should be job, not work in this case

Duolingo gives 'reseaux sociaux' translated as social networks so why not correct here?
That's not where your mistake was. Next time, please copy and paste your entire answer and we'll tell you what went wrong.
Any reasons why "the social media" was not accepted?
So you are telling me that "He found work thanks to social media." is an unacceptable translation of the French sentence??? Somebody doesn't know very much about the standard colloquial English in the tiny country of the USA.
"He found work thanks to social media" is an accepted translation when you can type your own sentence.
I have a question.
Un travail => a job
Du travail => (some) work
Is this correct?
Oui, c'est correct.
