Because ela is referred to the house...

is "bem" weaker than "muito"?

A little. Somehow like "bem confortável" = "comfortable enough", yeah?

Paulenrique! I'd say "bem comfortável" is more like "pretty comfortable". Comfortable enough (in the sense of "dá pro gasto" -- it will do) would be more like "comfortável o suficiente", don't you think? I'm saying this because bem comfortável is probably meant as a compliment, whereas "comfortable enough" is not really one. So it might make a difference when one of our friends here is trying to be polite. =D

Youre correct. I just thought that, depending on the intonation, bem comfortável may mean "comfortable enough" (for instance: what do you think about spending summer vacation at your uncle and aunt's beach house? / -hmmm, a casa é bem comfortável mas não o bastante para nós cinco). But maybe im wrong...

"Pretty comfortable" would work as a replacement for "bem comfortável" in that sentence! =)

A casa é bem comfortável mas não o bastante para nós cinco - The house is pretty comfortable, but not enough for the five of us.

See? o/ high five
