"My ex never used to pay for the pizzas on Saturday night" rejected. Why ?
my ex never paid for pizzas saturday night has the same meaning why is it incorrect?
I agree. Cummon Dou get on it!
So it told me I had a typo, "night" should have been "nights", when I only selected the available words and "nights" wasn't there.
I think it was a single night but many pizzas.
So, payait should be paid (past simple) and a payé should be has paid (present perfect)?
Saturday night pizzas huh? I've heard of a Saturday night special, but pizza? I guess this is another example of a weird sentence that Duo thinks helps us learn.
