Who would you address like this? Perhaps it's just me, but it seems pretty rude.
It doesn't sound natural ..
Very rude indeed!
Perhaps the Easter Bunny?
Okay, so I wrote: "Oui, un veut des sucreries donnez-nous-en" and it was marked wrong. I just thought the speaker had a southern French accent where "Oui" is commonly pronounced, "Ouais", so I wrote, "Oui".
I think Duo marked "un veut" as wrong. That's likely a typo and you meant to write "on veut".
Pourquoi apprendre des mots à la limite vulgaire ? Si un enfant dit cela, on lui demande de parler correctement !
I bet you wouldn't give them any candy either.
Not until you say "please"!
Really Duo? You won't accept Yes as a translation of Ouais? Come on..
That sound you heard was me firmly closing the door on a rabble of trick-or-treaters.
I thought sweets were bonbons. Isn't sucreries a more generic term for sweet things, perhaps a better English translation would be confectionery?
why not "candies" in place of "sweets" ?
Why does it not allow "give some to us"?
