Minkälainen should be accepted too

I wrote "minkälainen". What's the difference?

there is actually no difference, both millainen and minkälainen can be used interchangeably. hopefully in the future duolingo will start accepting both words as being correct!

Are "on se" and "se on" actually both okey?

"Millainen helmi on" is incorrect? Why?

Se = It. So you're asking "What kind of pearl is?" by leaving out the "se". I made the mistake too, it happens.
