Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

I love speaking Spanish!

I'm not really sure how great my Spanish is, and it's probably horribly flawed no matter how perfect I try to make it, but when I go into work everyday and get to have an actual conversation with these wonderful Spanish speaking people that I would imagine feel out of place because almost no one their speaks their language there, just makes my day so much better! They're probably some of the nicest people I've met! I love just being able to talk to them and be able to make sure they're not being treated wrong just because they don't speak English, and they're probably just as eager to learn more English as I am, Spanish.

I just wanted to post this to say what a wonderful experience it is to be able to communicate with such different people! I can't wait to further my learning, and I couldn't have done a lot of it without Duolingo, thanks ya'll. :)

Great to hear! That's exactly the feeling I learn for...it's exhilarating in a way, even though it's just your mouth forming different words. The meaning behind those words, and the work that you put in, plus the experiences you create, are what makes it all meaningful.

Congrats on the 21 day streak (mi número favorito)!
