it's annoying when they require 'some' because though while french people always say 'du', americans can just say fabric, not 'some' fabric

"voudrais" vs "aimerais" ? I understand those two when not in the conditional, but when they are in the conditional, I'm confused with them. Could someone explain their difference?

They are synonymous. "Aimerais" is a bit more soft, polite.
