I think the better translation would be, "I am patient, but I am fed up of waiting."

100% agree. But it is marked wrong. Reported.

The speaker is a woman. Shouldn't it be "patiente"?

Most duolingo translations don't match the speaker and the sentence to be spoken. So, a male voice can say something that was intended for a female and vice versa.

Is it just me, or is "with" not rather redundant in this translation? Or is it because I speak English?

I speak American English and I also would leave out "with" here. (Full disclosure, my grandmother was English!)
