" Anteeksi, minulla ei ole mitään juotavaa. Olen todella pahoillani. Pieni hetki."

Translation:– Excuse me, I do not have anything to drink. – My deepest apologies. Just a moment.

"My deepest apologies" sounds like a phrase from a movie. Would "I'm very sorry" work better here?

"Olen todella pahoillani. " > I'm very sorry

Why is this so difficult for Duolingo?

Seems like someone likes to be artistic and creative, moreso than practical. It's a little bit misleading, but I'm still learning nonetheless

Why not "i have nothing to drink"?

I was also marked wrong for writing "I have nothing to drink," which seems accurate. Have reported.

'I haven't anything to drink' should also be accepted. I have reported it

'My humblest apologies' should also be accepted. If one is going to be pedantic why not go the whole hog? Personally, if I was apologising, I would just say 'I'm so sorry'.

Is "I have nothing to drink" any different from"I don't have anything to drink"?
