"some local treat" is far too slang vernacular it's not really correct

I feel like it should be "a local treat" or "some local treats"

In order to use the 'something' version of 'jotain', would "I would like to taste something that's a local delicacy" be acceptable?
Also, the verb 'to taste' seems a bit weird ... wouldn't 'to try' or 'to sample' sound more natural?

'Local treat' is not slang and ought to be accepted

Some of these english sentences are really bizarre and I can't imagine anyone other than a Finn ever saying them

'A local delicacy' would be more correct
