"Kirja on minulla."

Translation:I have the book.

July 27, 2020

Sooo.... What is the main difference between "Kirja on minulla" and "minulla on kirja"? Is it about the book being the particular book and just a book? Or there is more to it? Kiitos!

Kirja on minulla = I have the book
Minulla on kirja = I have a book

It's not as clear as in English but there is a difference. Usually the most important things or things we already know about are in the beginning of the sentence

And how do i say "the book i have"? something like "kirja että minulla on"?
