is schildpad sch - like English's sh

or

s with German's ch?

Well, only approximately. The "hard" German -ch (as in "Bach") will work, but the "soft -ch" (as in "ich") will at the very best give you a gentle Belgian accent. ;)

So Turtle and Tortoise are the same word but they aren't the same animal...??

Many languages have the same word for turtle and tortoise. In America, both are usually called turtles. In Britain, turtles have flippers and live in the sea. They only come on land to lay their eggs. Tortoises have legs and live on land.

THERE IS A GLITCH IN THE 'MISTAKES' REVIEW Icon. It does not delete corrected answers, ignores new mistake

There is a glitch in the mistakes icon. It doesn't delete corrected answers, adds new mistakes but just repeats the corrected one over and over!
