My husband is a truck driver and agrees about the big traffic problem. It is a small country but due to its position and good roads, a lot of traffic passes through and poor driving can cause accidents which cause jams and of course the heavy traffic means the roads often need repairing.

Isn't dutch traffic supposed to be great due to so many bikes?

Amsterdam, compared to London, is astonishingly traffic-free. Other cities, I believe, keep cars away from their centres altogether. It's the taxi drivers I loathe the most.
