what is publicly show on streams?

is what you post to the people that you follow private? cos it shows on you own streams and the person you are posting to's streams but i am not sure if it is public?

You can find out by logging out of duolingo an going to the url http://www.duolingo.com/#/<yourusername>, for example for you <yourusername> would be ciny so go to http://www.duolingo.com/#/ciny (but first log out).
