Anybody ready for a mini-challenge? From Thursday, August 14th, to Sunday, August 17th (ending at 00:00 GMT -- click here to convert to your time zone), see how much progress you can make in your tree. Don't worry about a skill being gold, go. It can be your primary language, one you just started, or one you haven't touched in a while. No goals, no teams, no lingots. Just a way to get you motivated, and hopefully you'll come out of the weekend knowing a little more. Let the weekend begin!
Post below to let me know you're in! You can join at any time.
How's it going so far, everyone? Just edit your post to update any progress.
Holy crap, I wish I could move as quickly as you. It isn't the time constraints really that hold me back, it's the weekend and I have nothing but free time. What is holding me back is the German cases. I just can't work on the course for too long without my brain melting. Also, I have to move so slowly or else I just forget the stuff and get even more confused as I am moving on without fully understanding the previous material. Major congratulations are in order.:)
Challenge accepted ;)
EDIT: Well, I only managed to complete five skills in German, but overall I'm still quite happy with the progress. The tree was kept golden, and there were quite many lessons including some hairy grammar related to adjectives. Liked the additional push this challenge gave me.
Currently smack-dab in the middle of Adverbs, so I'll finish that today at least. Will be busy later, but hope to get the rest done over Saturday and Sunday.
Tenses are usually easier for me, save for the unexpected surprises, so hopefully I'll be able to get through that easily.
I'm in! I'm working on my French but I'm learning it both from the French for English Speakers Tree and the French for Spanish Speakers to keep my Spanish fresh =D.
I'm just started the "Être/Avior and Clothing" Units so we'll see how far I can get til Sunday =D I'll try to complete all 10 units in that section before Sunday
