Hindi Beginner!

Hi, I just started learning Hindi, to surprise some of my distant relatives, but I feel like I'm not getting too far in my lessons! So far I can say "(Sing/Plur Subject) eats a banana/apple" or "(Sing/Plur Subject) drinks water/tea" or (Sing/Plur Subject) reads a book." I don't mean to shower you with my "vast" Hindi knowledge, but as I said, I'm new here and I just want to get to know the community....so...Hi!

Learning hindi is tough to one extent..specially the gender part is little confusing.Every single object has a gender...Interesting yet tough

Yes, there are actually a lot of languages where objects have genders....take French for example! la= "the" but for female objects and le="the" but for male objects. La fourchette (the fork-female)
