Microphone settings

There are sections in the practice where I have to record and say phrases with the microphone. There are times when I cannot use the record option and I don't want to use the microphone. I've turned it off in the settings then clicked "save settings", however, when I return to pracice mode it's back on again. I check the settings and it's been set to on again. How do I make this stop?

I do have the same problem. I can't either any other settings.
