Duolingo Profiles

Do you generally separate your personal duolingo and your educator duolingo profiles?

**I can't figure out how to comment on my post or reply to those who posted. I decided to do a professional account and I'm going to do a "beat the teacher reward" at the end of every marking period.

Two separate accounts is more convenient when you need to transfer your teacher account to a colleague in case of illness, change of school, etc.

pentaan has a good point. I personally use the same for both, however.

I heard you need to reach XP level 2 in a language.

So add a course and either

    • take the placement test
(which is ridiuculous as only tapping of word banks is now allowed, even on the web portal after a change in 2019/2020 and the Android proved me in 2017 that highly guessing is possible with tapping to reach XP level 9 even you have never learned Spanish before)

    • or: Do the first few basic lessons in that language tree to gain 60XP (making it up to XP language level 2)

This hopefully fixes your forum issue.
Have you already verified your e-mail address to be able to post (I guess so as I see your thread)?
